Building brands & community since 2015.
Creativity is the space I go to feel the most fulfilled. Sharing this with other people is very personal, which means I am mindful and intentional about the work that makes it out of my studio.

Inside Kelp
Hi! I’m so happy you’re here. I’m Lorrie, a communicator, designer, and community builder who thrives where creativity and strategy meet. I’ve spent the last decade weaving together a mix of marketing, design, and leadership experience, with a special love for projects that bring people together or make meaningful change.
I wear a lot of hats, and I thrive on variety. One day I might be designing a logo or visual material that gives a project its identity, the next I’m leading a nonprofit organization, writing grant applications, or pulling together an event from the ground up. Whether it’s shaping a brand’s voice, creating visuals that resonate, or rallying a team around a big idea, I love the challenge of bringing visions to life.
Design has been a constant thread in my work; from branding and logo design to websites, sponsorship packages, promotional materials, campaigns and event management. I’ve helped breweries, artists, contractors, athletes, and nonprofits find their voice, creating materials that don’t just look good but tell a story. My creative side is backed by good old-fashioned education: a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Marketing Major), plus a Diploma in Finance and a Bookkeeping Certificate, giving me both the artistic eye and the business sense to build things that last. I am a perpetual student; always registered for a webinar, short course, or taking notes from the people around me.
At the end of the day, my work is about connection: helping projects, people, and communities shine through authentic communication and thoughtful design.

I’m fueled by community, the outdoors, and collaboration. I am a Director for the Mountain Bike Tourism Association of BC, where I also served on the Reconciliation Committee; a role that lets me combine my passion for inclusive recreation with meaningful action. I’m a core teammate of Rowdy Race Club, an initiative with the goal of getting more women racing bikes.
Between work blocks I’m out mountain or gravel biking, hiking, surfing, and generally enjoying the world with my dog. I love a good book, groovy music, and a strong cup of coffee.
